| Special: | Lagunas de Chacahua was pronounced a National Park in 1937 and consists of 2 principal lagoons - Chacahua and Pastoría and various smaller lagoons connected by narrow channels. | ||||
| Climate: | Temperate subhumid, hot subhumid and hot and humid. Mean annual temperature 14 -28 °C. Precipitation 700 - 2500 mm. |
