Lagunas de Chacahua National Park extends over various kinds of habitat. From dry tropical forest through extensive mangroves to sand dunes on the Pacific beaches (on this photo on the left). The park is home to many endangered species of fauna such as jaguar, tapir, american crocodile or marine turtles and also functions as important bio corridor to many migrating birds.
